Celebration Station

Good thing that we all survived doomsday. Now if only the Bulls could have survived the Heat. I'm not going to discuss the ref's calls, the ridiculous amount of Bulls turnovers, or the Rose-James matchup because it was all bad. One thing I will point out is the celebration.

Lebron James celebrates every measly point he makes as if it were a half-court buzzer shot to win game 7 of the finals. It's rather unnecessary if you ask me. Here are a few other unnecessary but humorous sports celebrations.

They thought it was over... guess not!

If only this would happen to LeBron. I would DIE.

News Roundup

One of my New Years resolutions was to keep up with the news. After following a few news stations on twitter, I found that I actually was quite interested in what was going on around the world and now read the news on the internet everyday. Here are some of my favorite lighter stories going around today.

1. Not the most reliable news source but Huffington Post sure can make you laugh. This is the "Mothers Day" edition of Awkward Family Photos, that will surely to give you a laugh. Here was my favorite of the bunch.

2. Doomsday: According to some believers, Saturday May 21st marks "Doomsday." It is said that on this day Jesus will return and judge all of us and so forth. Religion and personal views aside, there were two articles that did catch my eye. Travel Till The World Ends and What would you eat for your last meal? raise two very big questions. If the world was ending, had I travelled everywhere I wanted? And what would I eat as my last meal?
I would definitely go here.

If doomsday doesn't mark the end of the world, i'm going to have it mark a beginning for me. On Saturday i'm going to start planning to go to one place that I feel like I would want to go to before the end of the world. I'm also going to eat on saturday like it is my 'last meal.' After all, any meal could be the last so you might as well enjoy it!

What will your Saturday entail?

Lack of Organization

I am embarrassed to post this photo of my closet (and some of my room) that resulted from moving all of my things home. My closet, which takes up a whole wall of my room, isn't exactly organizational heaven. I've looked online at websites claiming that they will change your life through giving you a dream closet but at a minimum of $1,000, it's not quite in my budget. I'm working quickly but I am not ready to post the after pictures.

Scary isn't it??

Had to throw in a picture of my dream closet (minus the boring, colorless, wardrobe). This closet is about the size of my whole entire room (photo via Closets Ideas)

This is a little bit more realistic on my budget. I love how this closet is organized with different hanging lengths and that everything i'd need on a day-to-day basis is easily accessible (photo via OrgJunkie).

Distractions

Today officially marks one week that I have been home since graduating from Indiana University. I have never missed a place more and have already enlisted myself in a multitude of projects to distract myself from my constant daydreaming of my friends and school.

As an appropriate first post, here are some of the things that I will miss the most.

Tailgating for games that I never seemed to make it into.

Dressing crazy for Halloween.

Team photo during our impromptu Homecoming football game.

The greatest college weekend. Little 500.

A graduation that was bittersweet.
